Beyond Sailing is a small, family-run business committed to delivering unique sailing experiences that combine education, adventure, and relaxation.
Since spring 2022, we have offered Sail Canada certifications, customized sailing experiences, private instruction, and delivery skipper services from our base in Campbell River. We allow our clients to learn and practice sailing while exploring our region's beautiful coastlines. All our services are offered in both English and French, accommodating local residents and international tourists.
Our journeys venture towards Desolation Sound, selecting anchorages based on weather conditions and our guests' preferences. We provide opportunities for swimming lakes, hiking trails, beaches, and visits to local villages.
Our sailboat, Harmony, can host up to six adults. Guests are welcome to explore ashore, use our recreational equipment, or simply unwind onboard. We cater to all experience levels and interests.
At Beyond Sailing, our mission is to foster a community where individuals can join us to navigate the waters, master the art of sailing, and admire the tranquility of nature and the simplicity of life at sea.

Mao
Our Sailing Dog
Allow us to introduce you to Mao, an 8-year-old Labrador-Samoyed mix. While he doesn't get to go sailing as often as he would like, he is the perfect companion for any sailing adventure when he does. Mao brings joy and excitement to every trip he joins. If you would like to have Mao aboard, simply ask and we'll bring him along.
